Note: In the Grass section of the Fertiliser Manual, the nitrogen recommendation tables allow for concentrate use. If bulky, relatively moist, bought-in feeds are used on the farm, these can be treated as concentrates by entering their use on a dry-matter basis. For example, feeding 2.5 t/cow brewers grains at 23% DM would be equivalent to 0.6 t/cow concentrates.
