Over-wintering Geese

These water birds spend most of the time feeding on land. They tend to crop grass and other shoots they may also eat the occasional young root crop. Grass sowing and small inputs of nitrogen will improve a potential feeding area.

Discuss management plans with the RPA as special permission may be required.
