National Farm Waste Management Register

The National Farm Waste Management Register no longer exists - it was dissolved in 2005. It was set up in 1999 to provide a service to the farming community and waste disposal companies. It aimed to promote the effective use of all materials applied to agricultural land by encouraging integrated fertiliser management. Registered members were able to offer independent advice on all matters related to wastes in agriculture including: waste management planning; integrated manure plans; land application; and pollution control.

Peter Danks, past Chair of the National Farm Waste Management Register, is now a Director with Reading Agricultural Consultants.
