5. Docking of Pigs (Use of Anaesthetics) Order 1974 (SI 1974 No 798)

This Order prohibits the docking of a tail of a pig more than 7 days old without anaesthetic.

Although made under the 1968 Act, this Order relates to the use of anaesthetics as prescribed by the Protection of Animals (Anaesthetics) Acts 1954 and 1964.
