General Description:

These regulations provide detailed rules concerning inspection certificates for imports from third countries into the EC.

  • Inspection certificates are issued by the nominated inspection body.
  • A certificate must be obtained for each recipient.
  • Certificates are drawn up and completed in the official language of the EC except for the stamp and signature. These must be entirely in capital letters or in typescript and in one of the official languages of the EU Member state destination.
